Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 3, 2025
Introduction
Anylens Inc. (“Company”, “we”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information through compliance with this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you interact with our AI agent (“Agent”) deployed on Slack (“Platform”), as well as how you can access and control your information.
By installing, accessing, or using the Agent, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our Agent.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you interact with our AI Agent on Slack:
- Slack Profile Information: Your Slack display name, Slack user ID, email address (if available), team name, and team ID.
- Message Content: Messages or commands you send to the Agent. We do not persistently store full message content on our own servers by default. However, for the purpose of improving the service, debugging, and analyzing usage patterns, we may log interaction data — including message inputs and outputs — to an internally hosted observability tool.Logged data is retained only for a limited time, is appropriately masked, and is recorded in a form that does not directly identify individual users.
- Message Metadata: Timestamps, channel information, and message IDs to associate interactions across services and prevent duplication.
- Usage Data: Logs of features used, frequency of interactions, command types, and error reports.
- Integration Tokens: If you authorize third-party integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Google, or internal tools), we may store limited access tokens or API keys to enable functionality. These are encrypted and stored securely.
- Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we may retain your contact information and correspondence to resolve issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Slack AI Agent
- Process your messages and provide relevant responses
- Improve the Agent through analysis of aggregated usage data
- Respond to inquiries and provide user support
- Detect and prevent misuse, fraud, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send administrative updates and notifications
We do not use your data to train any public large language models (LLMs) or sell your personal information to third parties.
We also do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) and/or machine learning (ML) models.
When using Amazon Bedrock’s Claude 3.7 (developed by Anthropic), no inputs or outputs are retained or used to improve model performance or training.
To enable core product features, message content and related metadata are stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Only the minimum necessary information is retained, and the data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel.
In addition, anonymized interaction logs — including partial message content and metadata — may be temporarily stored for observability and debugging purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period of up to 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted in accordance with internal policy and applicable data protection standards.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information as follows:
- Slack: Your data may be shared within your Slack workspace depending on your message settings (e.g., direct messages vs. public channels).
- Service Providers: We may share data with cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS) and LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) strictly to support your queries. These providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
- Internal Team Members: Limited to authorized personnel for debugging or improving the Agent experience.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Retention
- Message content and metadata are stored in a secure, access-controlled database to support core product functionality — such as maintaining conversational context, enabling multi-turn interactions, and facilitating support operations. Only the minimum necessary information is retained, and the data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel. Message content is not used to train any public large language models and is retained only as long as operationally necessary, typically up to 12 months, or as specified in a customer agreement.
- Temporary logs for observability and debugging purposes may contain encrypted and masked data such as message metadata or partial message content. These logs are:
- Stored in secure, access-controlled environments
- Not used to train any AI models
- Automatically deleted within 12 months
- Personal identifiers (e.g., user ID, email address) are anonymized or deleted when no longer required for business, support, or legal compliance purposes.
5. Data Security
We take appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. These include encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent (if applicable)
- Request data portability
To exercise your rights, please contact us at support@any-lens.com.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
If you are located outside the country where our servers are based (e.g., the United States), your information may be transferred and processed in other countries with different data protection laws. We ensure adequate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a “Last updated” date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. Continued use of the Agent after updates constitutes your acceptance.
